Fairytale children’s room

In a small room of 12.8 m² I created a cosy space for two little girls. The room is designed to be primarily a place for quiet sleep, reading and relaxation. The space is dominated by a raised bed with wooden steps leading up to it. For the children’s enjoyment, I incorporated a slide into the design, which fits naturally into the overall concept of the room.

I tuned the colour scheme of the room to soft pastel tones with a predominance of white and pink. On the wall I created a decorative element of irregularly spaced slats, which are backlit and create a pleasant lighting. The dimmable light can thus serve as a night light or create a cosy atmosphere while reading.

Under the steps and slide, a practical storage space has been created that fits seamlessly into the overall design. The room is furnished with the future in mind – a TV can be placed in the space if needed, but for the moment I’m focused on creating a peaceful environment for sleep and relaxation.

The bedroom is not just a place to sleep – it is a space where children’s dreams and imagination can develop. Where every morning can start with a little adventure on the slide and every evening can end with a story in a cosy bed.
